A 68-year-old man is referred by his GP with a slowly enlarging pearly papule with a rolled, translucent edge on his left cheek. He has a 30-year history of outdoor work. The lesion has been present for 2 years and has recently developed a central ulcerated area. You are asked to assess and manage this lesion.
