Lung Cancer | MRCS Part B OSCE Revision

Chemotherapy: Platinum doublet (e.g. cisplatin) — first line for non-targetable NSCLC
Targeted therapy: EGFR tyrosine kinase inhibitors (e.g. imatinib) — for EGFR-mutated tumours
Immunotherapy: can be used alone or combined with chemotherapy

Clinical Scenario

Mr. Terry Holt, 68, retired shipyard worker and 45 pack-year smoker. Presents with a 3-month history of worsening cough, haemoptysis, 8 kg weight loss, and right-sided chest pain. CXR shows a right hilar mass and pleural effusion. He mentions his fingers have changed shape over the past year.
