A 58-year-old woman presents with a 2.5 cm pigmented lesion on her back that has changed in colour, size, and shape over 4 months. Excisional biopsy is performed. You are handed a histopathology report confirming malignant melanoma with Breslow thickness of 1.5 mm and resection margins of 0.5 mm.
